When data is entered into SAIPH the underlying data is immediately updated. The exception to this is in the consequence and frequency inputs where it is required that the data be saved.

If input data is changed which can affect the results, then a run is required. Consequently, SAIPH has an input lock to prevent accidental updates of the input data. When the inputs are locked it is not possible to edit data or activate buttons in any of the input screens.

The input lock does not lock the result screens which allows interrogation of the results. Additionally, the input lock does not lock any of the notes panels within SAIPH.

Note that when an existing project is opened the inputs are locked by default.
